How to Prepare For a Session With Reverend Barb or another practioner

Whether you are receiving a session for spiritual healing, having an attunement, getting a soul development reading, spiritual counseling or doing prayer work, there are various things you can do to get the most from your experience, and add to the experience.

Reading/Spiritual Counseling/Channeling

~Set your intention, or pray the week, day or night before your session that you will have a great session, and so it will be.
~Relax and be open to receive.
~Have a list of questions on hand - this will keep us focused and on track of what you want to know. You may ask any question or area of interest. This might include; health issues; relationships; business/career/financial; family; past lives; info on your Guides or Angels; past life info; path and direction; any current situation you want guidance with. You may ask for higher esoteric spiritual information or information regarding universal issues, when you question these areas I go into a deeper channel for that information called channeling. If Spirit has other information to share with you, rest assured that it will come forth, oftentimes at the beginning or wrapped up at the end as an addendum. (If I recycle back to a topic or statement at the end or during a session, this means Spirit wants you to take special notice of the information.)
~Bring a recorder or paper to take notes, you will most likely forget a lot of the reading shortly after it as you are in an expanded state during the session. Play the recording or review your notes, a week, a month, and then 3 months after your reading to get a higher perspective of what came through. (I apologize that I no longer can do the recordings, but I  get too expanded and forget to do them, also the high vibrational quality of the energy during a session can interfere with recording devices of any kind. Just because you record, it doesn't mean your recording will work - (this is an indication that indeed a higher spiritual frequency being was present.)
~Give me enough information on a question or issue to get started on a question. I need a little bit of information to follow the energy of the situation with accuracy.

~ You will be receiving all kinds of energies during the reading, counseling session or channeling. You've invited Spirit to work with you, so they will - on multiple levels! This can occur in what is called an attunement, clearing, healing, release and/or balancing. Watch for amazing transformations to start to take place in your life shortly after a session, if you are open to them.
~ Sometimes what is disclosed will happen quickly, but more often it can take sometimes weeks, months even years before an event or change as described will occur. Simply watch and wait, or act upon your instinct and welcome the changes in your life with the acceptance that: 
The Divine Plan for me is now activated in my life on all levels.

Energy/Spiritual Healing

~Set your intention, or pray the week, day or night before your session that you will have a great session, and so it will be.
~Relax and simply surround yourself in a column of beautiful light during the session, or do your favorite meditation during the session.
~Bring a list of current or past illnesses or afflictions that you would like the Guides to work with you on. Let me know if there are areas within your life where you feel stuck or are trying to resolve, or areas in your life that you are opening up to, in order to move to a higher level.

I use a number of healing tools like: my direct connection with the Source or God, energy through my hands, tuning forks, etheric crystal weavers that I hold over your body, rocks or crystals that I may place on your body. I normally do not touch your body, but may lightly touch an area briefly to transmit and/or release energy in your body. Please let me know immediately if there is something you are not comfortable with.

After your spiritual healing session, you may continue to feel energy shifting within your body for up to an hour or so, so please be careful driving home. You may receive physical healing from our sessions, but I am doing spiritual healing on you. I do not prescribe nor treat illness or physical disease, always consult a physician for such treatment. Incredible healing results can often be attained when holistic and Western treatments are used together. God has given us both forms of enlightenment for our spiritual healing; we would be foolish not to avail ourselves of all the methods, including Western treatment. Western treatment is as much of God as holistic treatments.
