Gene Ross
Sometimes I feel like I am the luckiest girl on the planet. I came from a loving family, and then married into a second family where I was treated just like I was their beloved daughter.
Gene, my mother-in-law, was a take charge woman, and ran the family - but did so with a very big heart. She was also my main spiritual mentor for many years. Gene was the first person to recognize and encourage my healing abilities. She told me I had healing abilities in my hands, and she had complete faith in me in this area, way before I did. We spent so many Sunday afternoons together, talking about metaphysics, and recounting and interpreting our night dreams together, while the guys played cards or watched NASCAR in another room. The topper to our dream visions was when I dreamt of an old country farmhouse. In the dream I conversed with Gene's mom, my mom and both my grand-mothers - all of whom had passed. The next weekend, Gene showed me a scrapbook of many old photographs. I stopped her when she came to one of an old country farmhouse. I asked her "who lived here?" She said, "You tell me." I then said, "this is the farmhouse in my dream - was it your mom's house?" Of course, it was. Before my dream I had never seen the home.
I was blessed to be by Gene's bedside the evening of her transition. Everyone else had gone home to get some rest. She was in Alive Hospice, which was wonderful for not only her, but for all of the family members. I sat with her and felt the energy change in the room. She motioned to me that she wanted to sit up. I asked if she was alright. She nodded yes. Then her breathing became labored and I felt the Angel of the Lord descend. The room brightened, as I held open the channel of light for her. A ball of light swept from her feet and two balls of light popped out of her crown. She had simply stepped out of her body practically effortlessly. I felt her hover over me a minute. I told her we would all be fine, and that we loved her greatly and now she should continue into the light. Knowing her, she didn't really need my guidance, she knew her way home.
Gene, I thank you for sharing with me one of the most sacred events in your life; your birth into your next life.
