Animal Friends

And then there are our animal friends, who are themselves little spiritual beings. I've written a book about reincarnation and communication with spirit in a book called The Healing - One Cat's Diving Mission. This story is based on true events, and I still live with Boots II - or should I say he chooses to live with me.
Animals are more tuned into spirit than most people realize. Often when I speak to people who are grieving for a loved one, if I know they have pets I ask them, "has your pet sat around following something in the air that wasn't there, and wasn't a bug? Did you see your pet grieve after your (and their) loved one died?" I believe some animals can see spiritual beings or spiritual forms. One night after dreaming of a spiritual visit, I awoke to find all three of my animals sitting staring in mid air at the same spot on my bedroom wall - right where I had heard a voice being called out by a little lost spirit.
It is possible to experience communication from the other side when a pet transitions. Bosco, my border collie was about 17 when she passed. Returning from the vet clinic after her death, my healer friend, Judie, and I both felt Bosco in the back seat, wagging her tail, excited that she was young again and free. She communicated to me that she could go anywhere, that she had been with "daddy" (Dave). She told me not to cry, that she could run without pain, and that she would be mostly with daddy but she would come visit me from time to time. She thanked me for taking care of me, she told me she loved me and then she was gone. Now, my dog never talked to me in her life, but in those few moments she conversed with me perfectly telepathically. I thank you Bosco for showing me the fullness of your spirit and for loving me completely.
Many people experience some form of communication from dearly loved pets after their transition - for we are not the only ones who go to heaven. Often communication with pets that have passed will be subtle; you may find a favorite toy one day after you thought you had cleaned out the house of their reminders, or just feel like they are with you when they obviously are not.
As with crossing-over psychics, there are psychics who can help you connect with a beloved pet. Such information can provide comfort and understanding that your loved person or pet is truly ok and living on the other side.
